Playas del Papagayo
This beach is located in a protected natural park in Los Ajaches, access to the park has a cost of €3 per car in a supervised car park. The beaches found in this area are called Playas del Papagayo.
El Papagayo
These series of wild, beautiful cove beaches of fine white sand, calm waters, and it is protected from the wind as it stands behind the hill. The number of visitors are rising every year, because it has been one of the most touristic attractions in Lanzarote and they are now considered to be the best beachs in Lanzarote.

Puerto de Muelas
Playa Puerto Muelas is close to Playa Caleta del Congrio, both beaches have a mobile home park area, the camping area is very comfortable and very well-organized. In summer it is a very crowded beach with the parking area filled with caravans of people, mainly Lanzarote residents, who spend most of their time here during this season.
This small beach(310m) has a fine white sand and calm waters.
In the past this was a nudist beach exclusively, but now it is a mixed beach.

Caleta Del Congrio
With a fine white sand and calm waters, this small beach only measures 310m.

With fine, white sand and calm waters, this small beach (300 m) is very clean and well maintained, with litter bins around.

Playa Blanca
A small beach (100 m), Playa Blanca has named on behalf of the largest tourist area in the south of Lanzarote. Located in the middle of the village, it has fine golden sand and calm waters that offer good conditions for diving.

Playa Dorada
Located to the east of Playa Blanca, this artificial small beach has fine white the sands and calm waters.

Playa Flamingo
This small beach with fine white sand with calm waters offers a fairly complete range of services.

Montana Roja
Montaña Roja located in a semi-developed part of the Playa Blanca tourist coast, it is a small, fine white sand with a calm waters beach.

Yaiza
El Golfo
El Golfo has two beaches. The main beach and largest is 300m, medium grain black sand and is a wide windy beach with strong waves.
Beside it is an inlet of some 100m which is located close to the El Golfo village. This beach is separated from the other by a large red rock, where the local fishermen dock their boats.
Be aware that these beaches are not for swimming, unless you are a surfer/windsurfer.

El Janubio
Janubio beach, together with the lagoon of the same name and the larger area of the island's saltworks, can be found on Lanzarotes designated site of scientific interest. With medium grain black sand with picon (small lava stones) and is windy with strong waves and is quite a small beach.
Be carefull because this area has a very strong sea and we don't recommend swimming around here.
