For those of you that want some time away from the beach, Lanzarote has many attractions and activities to enjoy. There is something for everyone to do depending on their taste, such as go-karting and a Western based theme park Rancho Texas for the kids, Timanfaya National Park and the Jardin de Cactus are 2 attractions unique to Lanzarote for the whole family to see or there are boat trips to see the sights around the Island. For those that fancy a round of golf there is an 18 hole golf course with another nearing completion and planning permission for another recently approved.

This is of course a small taste of what Lanzarote has to offer along with its fabulous year round weather.

The public transport in Lanzarote is reasonable but if you want to see everything the island has to offer, hiring a car is recommended and with the car rental rates in Lanzarote it won't break the bank
